Twenty-four years after the release of DO WHAT I WANT, the last album recorded by Howard Fishman Quartet, the songwriter and bandleader reunites with his original band to preview material for a new album slated for release later this year. This special, one-night only event will be the quartet's first public appearance together since 2003. The band includes: Russell Farhang (violin) Jon Flaugher (bass), Erik Jekabson (trumpet), and Mark McLean (drums), along with Fishman's vocals and guitar –– a group that helped pioneer the Brooklyn music scene of the late 90s and early aughts.
